Charlotte Ngo, a young harpist of exceptional promise, began her musical journey at the age of five under the mentorship of Elena Mashakova, esteemed alumna of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and protégé of the legendary Vera Dulova. By eight, Charlotte continued her studies with Olga Shevelevich, a distinguished graduate of the St. Petersburg Conservatory and a veteran of the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra under Valery Gergiev.
Charlotte’s artistry was first recognized when she was awarded First Place in the American Protégé International Competition of Romantic Music in 2022. Following her debut at Carnegie Weill Hall in June 2023, she has received over eighteen gold prizes in regional and international competitions. Among her honors are a Gold Medal in the 5th Vienna International Music Competition and First Prize in the Contemporary Category of the 2025 California Association of Professional Music Teachers (CAPMT) State Competition.
At just eleven years old, Charlotte became the youngest member of the advanced ensemble of the Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra, a testament to her dedication and musical maturity. With a profound love for the harp and a deep commitment to her craft, Charlotte aspires to share the beauty of her music with audiences around the world.
